Mike Ames,
Owner & Master Detailer

Mike Ames grew up around auto detailing. What began as a family business eventually became his own venture when he founded Ultimate Auto Detailing in 2012. Since then, he’s combined hands-on experience with professional training from Autogeek to deliver high-end results with a focus on precision, quality, and care.

Mike specializes in paint correction and ceramic coatings, with a relentless drive for perfection that shows in every vehicle that leaves the shop. He takes pride in restoring cars to better-than-new condition and building long-term relationships with clients who value craftsmanship.

When he’s not in the shop, Mike enjoys cycling and spending time outdoors—recharging in the same focused, intentional way he approaches his work.

Kate Ames,
Operations & Accounting

Kate has been a vital part of Ultimate Auto Detailing for over seven years, overseeing scheduling, accounting, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. Her ability to juggle multiple roles—and do it all with a smile—makes her an essential force behind the scenes. Kate also brings a positive, fun energy to the shop that keeps the team motivated and connected.

Outside of work, Kate is passionate about animal rescue. She volunteers regularly with local organizations, with a special focus on helping rescue and rehome cats. Her dedication to both her work and her community truly sets her apart.

John Braden,
Head Detailer & Shop Manager

With over a decade at Ultimate Auto Detailing, John is a driving force behind the quality and consistency the business is known for. What began with a standout work ethic quickly evolved into a deep mastery of the craft. Over the years, John has put in countless late nights honing his skills and now leads the shop with a steady hand and sharp eye for detail.

As Head Detailer and Shop Manager, John sets the bar high—bringing focus, pride, and energy to every project. He has a strong passion for motorcycles and boats, and loves seeing the transformation that comes from a job well done. John’s dedication to his work and team continues to play a big role in the company’s growth and reputation.
